We are opening up a new Tiki Bar in Rosarito, Mexico..The bartenders are not familiar with Tiki Drinks so we want to start with a short menu and build on it so we don't disappoint our clientele..So here is the first list i would like feedback of additions or subtractions ...most recipes are coming from Beachbum Berry Remixed ..Also our featured Tequila is going to be the Voodoo Tiki Tequila line of Tequilas so we will have alot of their drinks on the menu
Here we go
Mai Tai - Trader Vic
Mai Tai -Royal Hawaiian
Zombie
Captains Grog
Navy Grog
151 Swizzle
Suffering Bastard
Missionary's Downfall
Blue Hawaiian
Singapore Sling
Planters Punch
Scorpion
Fog Cutter
Painkiller
Lapu Lapu
Thanks for the input!!!

Great list!
I would add Bum's Rush as it has tequila. You have to have tequila in a tiki bar, even in Mexico.
1 oz. triple sec
1 oz. Barenjager
1 oz. lime juice
1 oz. unfiltered apple juice
1 1/2 oz. tequila
This is a Beachbum Berry original from Intoxica.
Saludos,
Erik el Rojo

Personally, if the Trader Vic's Mai Tai is on the menu, I don't see a reason for there to be any other. But I'm not anything approaching a tiki menu expert. Sounds like a pretty tasty menu though.

If you're going to serve a Blue Hawaii I suggest the original recipe from Grog Log, not the reworked one from Remixed which is less accessible. I'd also include you look to add from the Trader Vic's side.

Where in Rosarito will your bar be, and when will it be open?
