I finally got to a point where I thought I could share my newest Tiki carving. Bought some 6" foam,3 layers of 2" laminated together, off of CL,cut angled pieces to form a "sorta-circle" and let the foam fly.Tongue stud will be the tap!The only things left are to knock down the sheen and put some sort of crest on the Fez (lampshade to one of my friends LOL).26" d x 41" w x 53" h.Fez is 26" h.Hope you like it!

Nice foam work, I would have thought it was wood. It's HUGE!
PS - Good thing your last name isn't Rection!

Thank's MadDogMike. I'm a woodworker by trade but after years of Trade Show, museum work and watching the faux finish masters at work I picked up a few things lol.The new Tiki bar where he goes will be a sorta grotto w/ a smoke machine and lot's of bamboo. Here's another pic of what I do, Sleeping Beauty's castle for the Junior Rose Parade with my grand-daughter Isabella as Sleeping Beauty.
