Thanks to everyone that has posted photos. I'm assuming there are (many) more on Facebook - does anyone have a link to any that are available publicly for us non-Facebook types?

Mahalo!

Here are a few more choice shots ...

Beachbum Berry concludes his symposium in praise of The Mai-Kai's cocktails and legendary mixologist Mariano Licudine.

Mai-Kai general manager Kern Mattei leads the crowd in sing-along of his new "Hukilau Song" (aka "Rum in Your Mouth") with a little help from King Kukulele and Crazy Al (right) as Hukilau organizers Stacie "Heelgrinder" Herndon (left) and Christie "Tiki Kiliki" White look on.

Good old Crazy Al. He makes some great stuff, but his website is an unmitigated disaster.

That painting of Mireille Thornton had been in storage for years after it was vandalized in the dining area. I had an artist friend clean and restore it and gave it back to the Mai-Kai (framed in glass) to put it back.

It is by J. Craig Hille III, who I believe did all the large black velvets in the Mai-Kai.
