Tom, the context looks bad there ~ picture of a mostly nekkid girl and that reminds you that you & PC Tiki need to go out "riding". If I didn't know you were an avid bike rider I would call your wife and suggest she hire a private investigator!
Palm City Tiki, that is shaping up well, can't wait to see how it turns out.

O.K. I will play Devils advocate
As for composition: Is that monkey getting ready to stick that torch
up the cute girls bum?
I would think seeing a monkey with a lit Tiki torch would not be a good thing
& maybe running would be a better thing to do?
As for Style: The Disney/Pinup aesthetic is pleasant enough but not very original
how you use color & texture here will be the deciding factor on how well it works
But I look forward to seeing the finished art.

Thanks for the input.... Especially the true critique
Tom, we rode Markham and Quiet Waters last Saturday.... Both were in good shape.
It was a last minute decision so we didn't tell anyone.
Guess I have to finish this one.

I like it, very fun and sexy as hell! ATP Disney/Pin-up? That's an odd combo

It's prominent with lots of artists from Comic Art to Disney animators who take the Disney cartoon style
and sex it up, like J. Scott Campbell's work here:
I will let PalmCityTiki tell us their influences, but I see that same style here.

comparing my stuff to his is a compliment.
My influences vary greatly. Dean Yeagle, Frazetta, Playboy, I like off shoots of any artist and try to expand on everything I do.
Thanks for the positive comments and creative thoughts. My stuff is finally stating to develop a feel of its own. ( i think)
starting another pieced!
I tend to do a project quickly and then let it lye. Evaluate it and maybe tweek it a little more.
I wanted a better foreground, but everything I tried just distracted from the piece.

I needed ideas about what to do with her nipp-less, but decided to leave it to your own imagination.
....or give me some ideas.

If your going to show the boobs, show the nipples
nothing wrong with that! and very common in all the old Tiki menus.

I tried 6 cover ups and 3 nipples. Decided to leave her nipp-less for now.
Guess you connoisseurs of teets need more graphic detail.
