in Costa Mesa,Ca. (OC Fair Grounds)

Back in the old days in L.A., B-52s appealed to the crowd that attended Madam Wongs while X got it's start playing at the Hong Kong Cafe, the more hardcore venue. Good to see they are able to play together nicely.

I know this is not a "Tiki event" but I am always surprised at how
many TCers make it to the gigs, The Starwood was where I caught a lot of X gigs
back in the day & the last time I saw the B52s they opened for the "Talking Heads"

Just an idea.....Tickets for this show include entrance to the Orange County Fair
we could have a TC meet up after the gig and see who is brave enough to eat what ever
disgusting fried foods on a stick that are all the rage this year?
