Gwen,

Your painting skill is awesome. The colors are perfect. Keep posting, I'd like to see more.

One question. Why are Boo's ears down? Does he since the Pterodactyl's are ready to attack?

Thanks for the kind words, oh creator of beautiful lamps. Boo is a chronically relaxed individual and generally wears his ears in a casually flopped back mode. The pterodactyls approach only to pay tribute.

I have been busy with commissions and such, but I finally got a chance to finish up my triptych, and here it is. I am pretty pleased with it overall. Again ( for those who might not be catching this thread from the beginning), these paintings were created specifically to hang in my own dog-centric home, amidst other humorous portraits of my own dogs.

Beautiful. Love the harmonious colors and tones. Your "demidog" or backwards god looks right at home with the other gods. I probably said it before but your work has a very 1940's illustrator feel that I really dig.

That can be arranged. I will try to get a shot of it later today.

Nice job, I love the concept. I know there is no "dog" in Tiki and no "Tiki" in dog, but so many of us have 4 legged critters and Tikis...there is a cross-over for us.

Do you do commissions?

Thanks for the kind words. You express my sentiments exactly. And yes, you bet I do commissions. I am generally working on at least one.

By the way, I find that it is really impossible to get a decent pic of the paintings hanging indoors. It is just not bright enough in there.

Awesome piece Gwen! Beautiful execution & craftsmanship. I especially like the values you chose for the painting. Very pleasant to look at. Great job.
