Name:Islander Park
Type:other
Street:3794 Mt. Vernon St
City:Riverside
State:CA
Zip:92507
country:USA
Phone:
Status:operational

Description:
Found this park while searching the net.

It's still there. Sorry about the poor image quality, I used my phone.

It was locked up and I couldn't get inside. But the small circle is showing a Moai mask. There are a few on the wall surrounding the pool.

Here are a few images from blueprints from the cities website found here.

Statue no longer located out front.. just the bunch of palms.

Fantastic !! I like how the linked timeline refers to it as a "Tiki roof"!

Tiki Shaker,

Thanks for posting this. I have had that postcard for some time and always wondered about this place. Here is a better scan.

Close up of the A-frame, no Tikis to be seen. Wished they had shot the front with that Tiki shown on the blueprints.

Back of the card.
