Mike, Wanna share your thoughts? Ive heard positive comments about this distillery.

I love the Foursquare rums cuz they're pure, unadulterated, no added sugar, color, etc. I've tried several of their expressions (Port, Zin, 2004, 2005, Criterion, and Dominus) and find the Port to be my favorite. I could seriously just pour a tall glass of this and be in heaven. Oddly, it was the cheapest of all their products and sadly it disappeared before I was able to stock pile a multitude of bottles. The 2005 is probably my second favorite. At cask strength, it's hot as shit but has wonderful flavor and incredible aroma. I could just sit here sniffing it all day. I typically have to add a tad of water to soften the initial blow though. I highly recommend picking up any bottles of their products that you see.

Mahalo Mike.
Cheers

While it can be said Ontario is a black hole for good rum, it can on occasion surprise:

Appleton 15 year blend Canadian exclusive

Great find! I've seen limited bottles of the 25 year Appleton rum, and it sells around USD 250.00, but special order only, not on the store shelves. From your pic it looks like you may have grabbed a case? That would be a good move. Now you gotta drink it. Enjoy!

Wow, I've never seen or heard of that 15-year Canadian exclusive. That's fantastic. Do you mind me asking how much a bottle goes for?

How are you liking the Matusalem and Doorly's? I'm a huge fan of the Doorly's XO, but haven't had the 12 yet.

Found this dusty old bottle at a liqour store in Gardena. Really bought it more to use as bar decor (anyone else really dig the older bacardi labels?) but the contents of the bottle are actually okay. I think this particular iteration of the now defunct Anejo product was made at their facility in Mexico, which is also where the 1909 Heritage product was made.

Foursquare 2005 last week. My first Foursquare rum.

Bottles from the latest Privateer Distillers Drawer release; tasting party was yesterday (I live about 45 minutes from the distillery).

All 5 of these rums are exceptional.
