I actually shudder that Hawaii continues to rid itself of its Tiki palaces, regardless of expert Tiki historians, the true origin of Tiki is not Hawaii, but Rapa Nui. According to Dr. Van Tilburg of the Easter Island Project, the first "tiki" were the Moai on Anakena Bay, the landing site of the tiki godfather, Hotu Motu'a, which became a sared religious site and is now called Ahu Nau Nau.

Thank God! I hope to make it back in 2014 and I have yet to get over the loss of the Tiki Palace, the Hawaiian Hut.

Nope. still in the closet, and still a sociopath!

(A sociopath, for those unclear about the definition, is a person incapable of feeling real human emotions. A sociopath always has to fake love and affection to those around him, because he does not really feel anything. When you meet a sociopath, you usually can tell. In their eyes there is nothing, except a cruel malice...always looking at you wondering what they can take from you or get from you, how you can somehow be of use to them. And if they see you as a threat, a sociopath won't hesitate to destroy you.)

So I am not sure why any sociopath would love tiki with all it's fun and good times. But I have been labeled as such, so I will stick with it.

Now I am off to have one of those Banana Banshees and listen to some Kenny Chesney!

One of the things tiki means to me is the freedom to unmake shitiki, preferably under the liquid influence from my bar, at any time of day or night I so choose. I'm setting aside a few ammo rounds for the inevitable Kenny Chesney face mug from...well...you know.

saw what you did there, but . . .

Occupational hazard, but I feel I need to point out that the Delphinidae (dolphins) and the Phoecinidae (porpoises) are actually two different families.

You are welcome.

Yes, although with Blackfish on CNN, there now is quite a debate, amongst some, about SeaWorld's Dolphins, which include Orcas.

What I like about Tiki is that when I go to Sea World San Diego, I see a photo of this:
