Palm fronds

Painting these palm fronds to place under the eves of the “a-frame” attached to my tiki patio. They’re sorta frail so I have to figure out how to easily attach and remove them during strong windstorms. They’ll be mounted about 10’ overhead, illuminated with low wattage garden floodlights-should look pretty dramatic at night.
This one is almost done.

Not started.

Various stages of completion.


All will be given a “clearcoat” sealer. Hope they last a couple of years.

The tiki in the last pic was purchased at Don;s (itmp) from Jason (SmokingTikis). I have lots of stuff jammed together right now-trying to keep it out of the sun and rain.
