Mucho maholoz for sharing.
Went to Kuaui last November. Did a tour of a privately owned botanical garden just below Princeville. Rode a helicopter over thje entire island. much of the beauty remains. Plantations are gone-good riddance!

Bama', I ran across Kailua Kids 8 YouTube films just last weekend! Well worth viewing and are from two trips in 1940 and 1951.
If you haven't found Vic & Becky's 1,000+ 1954 Oahu photostream on flickr. Do yourself a favor, dive in and spend a few hours.
