Aloha,
The word is the Catalina event might be something to keep in mind for next year. I can't imagine us all on the same boat....or I think the skipper could not imagine....but hey that's their problem
Warm water, weather and a killer luau party. Via cell phone from my "tiki 3" says we shall all plan on next year!
Summer is too short!!
Aloha!!!!!

gnarly weekend! I was so glad to meet Crazy Al and Bamboo Ben finally. I was a little intimidated to meet Crazy Al because. . . well, his name for one, but he is one very cool kat, and i was honored to be doing a carving demonstration right in front of him. I will post the pictures very soon!

T-Tony,
The curse of the dreadded back pain!! It's only the begginnnnnning!! Take care before it's too late!!! Get used to that table fast!! I'm trying to get out of the C'Al,Tues. gig but something tells me that I'll be there if I like it or not. (arrrrr!!!)

Scott-ty,
Hows the head??? (scott lost all his hair in a DJ accident a few years back! Crazy story! Something to due with too many turn tables spinning at one time!!) He was outside all day in the sun with no protection on his head!(Holden too! he got a nice shade of purple on his shoulders!!)! Can wait to come back to the rock with the tribe. Gonna do all the tourist stuff and Avoid the Marlin Club all together!! See you's soon! I'm on glue and can't dig up the pics you posted. Where are they??

I get to the event stage with Holden and Ben... see this guy... Holy Time Machine BatMan!! Who sent over the a dude from the Endless Summer Movie????
I new this knew kid was my kind of guy.
Great to meet you Tony. You’ve got the spirit. Hope to see you on Tues. A 50 minute tiki wont be all that much to admire but should provide an interesting interview show. I too will have to recover from this gig. I have about 20% less movement in my left shoulder thanks to carving all last spring and summer. Stretching Stretching Stretching do it- know it -live it.

Thanks to Latitude 33 for all the hospitality and the Great Weekend! Catalina Rules!

Once again, thanks Latitude 33! Crazy Al, I guess its obvious what my favorite movie is. For the past 3 years while at Cal Poly SLO, my wAhine and I didn't have cable, so i had endless summer on tape playing consistentlly. tHe first half of big wednesday is also a favorite of mine... which was given to me today for my b-day from my chikki-"d". I've always wanted to pull that move where 3 peeps are on a wave on different boards, then they all jump on one board. wow, i'm rambling. You are one cool guy C' Al. i'm sorry i missed the carving demonstration but i had to teach a last minute surf lesson... i was all set to drive to HB and surf lessons called. Hope to see you guys soon...
