So my introduction to Tiki culture was Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar at Disneyland. I had no idea what I was walking into when I went in there. Bam! I was hooked! Certainly the ambiance, and the artistry of Disney played a part. But the music was an undeniable part of it for me. So, below is what I have derived from Shazam (a smartphone app that will tell you the title etc... about what the phone hears) and the YouTube video that I found that has the Trader Sam's playlist:

Did you just stumble upon Sam's, or did you go there intentionally?

Also if you have Spotify, it can be streamed as well:

Hey, I love the selection of Trader Sam's too! It delivers a well-balanced mix of old and "contemporary" exotica and some surf rock for a good measure.

If you want to discover more about tiki music, I recommend this website:

Also, you can listen to my Tiki/Exotica mixes called "Exotica Tropicana" here: http://www.tikiroom.com/tikicentral/bb/viewtopic.php?topic=51563&forum=11&14

Santo & Johnny’s “Hawaii” is a vintage album originally released in 1961. 2011 must have been a 50 year anniversary edition. Great record.
