On August 21, 1959 Hawaii was admitted as the 50th State! It's 8:50pm (PST), which makes it 11:50pm (EST)....STILL TIME TO MIX THAT MAI TAI FOR THE LAST MINUTE CELEBRATION! Gecko braddah! I celebrated (both my b-day and Hawaii's induction) at the opening event of Exotica 2003, Trader Vic's, with 4 (or so) Fog Cutters, 4 (or so) Mai Tai and a pleasing joint of Maui's finest Wowie. Needless to say it was a great night. The next morning, however, was a bit touch and go. _________________
