I'm in need of contemporary edgy surf tunes similar to Messer Chups. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks, I've had recommendations for Man or Astro Man, and Satans Pilgrims but yeah, not even close!

There are a number of bands with a similar style. Here are a few. If you put one of these bands into a Google search, it will probably pop up several other similar bands, and that's a really easy way to find new music.

Jason Lee and the RIP Tides

Los Straitjackets https://www.straitjackets.com
The Ghastly Ones https://horrorpedia.com/2014/04/02/the-ghastly-ones-rock-band/
The Aqua Velvets (check out their Guitar Noir, esp) https://www.facebook.com/The-Aqua-Velvets-333065163434288/

Also, searching for 'spooky surf', 'dark surf', and 'horror surf' will bring up bands of similar style.
