Wife found a cool pitcher and some dbl old fashions(nautical) along with some more plastic/ rattan insert tumblers. They use to be filled with cottage cheese if you bought em from the milkman.

Awesome finds guys! BK those slot cars are killer and that bunch looks to be in great shape. I picked up this rare Allan Gould mid century modern string chair a couple of weekends ago. Designed in 1952. It's rough but finding one is a real challenge. The Museum of Modern Art in NYC has one of these on display. I'm going to off this one as I don't have the space or the time to restore it.

Thanks, guys. The cars are all complete. I'll go through them all & get them in good working order over the next couple of weeks.

I picked up this dynamic duo this weekend for a song. A bit over the top for even my taste but they are in good solid shape. I will rewire them and bring the finish back to the original beauty. The pic looks a bit bent but that is just from the camera. They even have a C7 bulb in the base to light the orange globes. The good thing with the majority of MCM pieces is that a careful restoration can only help and not hurt the value.

I have a fondness for space junk from the fifties. It seems like yesterday's tomorrow was so much cooler than today's reality. I picked up these vintage plastic spacemen by Archer and the book for a song last weekend. The book is copyrighted 1952, 1958 and has some awesome images. These books are getting hard to find these days.
