I won the top prize in the raffle, which was two nights at the Caliente Tropics....Whoohoo! Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Pineapple!
So, I called the Tropics today to see if I could use it at Tiki Oasis, and they told me that they sold out a couple of weeks ago. So, I'll have to attend another time; no biggie.
But I still want to go to Tiki Oasis...can someone recommend a good cheap motel nearby, and/or is anyone looking for a roommate?
thanks!

Try the Travelodge next door to Caliente. It is a nifty mid-century motel and it is just a few steps away so you won't feel like you're missing out on too much.

I believe that Otto sent out an email saying that they could no longer recommend the Travelodge due to a large number of complaints after last year. Just an FYI.
