While sharing a giant volcano bowl of Funky Monkey last night at The Purple Orchid I saw a sign behind the bar advertising a big party this Wednesday in honor of Jimi's 50th birthday. I hope to make it down there and would love to hear some more details. P.O. Parties Rule! Wersmo Derinc, what's the deal?!!?

I have to ask: Jimi who? The only Jimi I know spelled like that is Hendrix, and he was born on Nov. 27, 1942...
Gotta be somebody special for the P.O. to have a party for him, however...

Jimi is a regular at the bar and he is turning 50. A few people are going to bring pot luck and all are welcome! You need bring nothing but yourself and a thirst.
