Where can I purchase bamboo poles online at a decent price? I'm looking for several poles in 3'-4' in length and over 3/4" in diameter but not larger than 2". I want to use them for some artwork. Thanks!

Don't know if these folks will ship to AZ, but they are our bamboo supplier here in Seattle. Maybe they know who you could call down there.

if you got a pier 1 around, they sell bamboo in bundles about that size... or any garden supply store.

Here are some places I have found on the web. I don't know if they classify as inexpensive, or if you can order individual poles (most are sold by the bale) but it's a start.

yes or cost plus sometimes has bamboo too. (I've even seen it at Michaels Art supply)
Maybe you can order them off of the Pier One site?
Here are the other sites:

I don't know it they do mail order bamboo, but their warehouse is full of it (and everything else tiki):

I hope this helped in your quest

I found bundles of Bamboo around that size in Michaels, & if Michaels has it Hobby Lobby & other craft stores should have it, too.

Thanks everyone! I'll be checking out those links today. No, I don't have a pier one nearby. No stores nearby that have bamboo. I've checked. I'm 3 hrs north of phoenix, 3 hrs south of vegas, and 5 hrs out of any part of L.A. Middle of nowhere and middle of everywhere all at the same time.

Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce bamboologistics to everyone. To make it short and simple BambooLogistics is a manufacturer for all bamboo products located in Guangzhou, China. We have 5 different factories for production and processing. We export mainly to wholesalers in Europe and US markets to now we will have our own distribution office setup in California so everyone can get the rock bottom price. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at anytime.

More info please. When will your California distribution office be open? Where in California will it be located?

I have bamboo growing in my yard that regularly needs to be harvested. If you're anywhere near Sarasota Florida, come and get some. It's about 1.5" to 3" in diameter. Tall and straight, 20 plus feet.
