Hey everyone, I've got a dilemma and was hoping someone could help... What to drink tonight?
I just got a volcano bowl which I'm thinking would be nice to fill with a nice cold, frothy scorpion.
On the other hand, there is the beautiful Trader Vic Kava Bowl I just got from Tiki Farm. Problem is, I don't know the proper libation to fill it with.
Any sugestions? Please hurry, 5 o'clock will be here before ya' know it!
Aloha,

I can't believe no one answered this thread.
If memory serves me right, this is what I broke my new Kava Bowl in with:
The Kava Bowl Deflower-er.
3 oz Pyrat White rum
3 oz Pusser's Rum
1 oz Lemon Hart 151
1 oz brandy
1 oz orange curacao
1.5 oz Velvet Falernum, which...oh, nevermind.
1 oz soy milk (try it sometime! don't be afraid)
3 oz orange juice
1 oz grapefruit juice
6 oz pineapple juice
two dashes orange bitters
blended with a cup of ice and poured into an ice filled Kava Bowl. Frothy!
Basically a "kitchen-sink-oh-shit-I-have-no-lemons-or-limes" kind of drink.
Note: a little strong for one person.

Nice sounding drink. Maybe I'll try that on my next day off.
How about some more drinks?
Anyone else out there think there could/should be an official "Tiki Drink" thread or forum?

Martiki,
That's one hard-core sounding drink. But what's with the sour milk?

SOY milk, amigo. It has a nice vanilla flavor that works with the warmth of the brandy and the almond in the Falernum

I like to put Polynesian Paralysis in my bowls. I am no fan of the sour. This is a more sweet drink.
