Since there are quite a few Centralites heading to Sin City for VLV, I made a few preliminary inquiries about renting Taboo Cove out for a private event.
Roughly speaking - here's what I had in mind. Thursday Nights are slow for the club and they close down early. So we would have it all to ourselves from 10PM onward. We could play our own tiki music and have our own live entertainment on the stage.
It would probably take at least a $20+ cover and 2/3 drink minimum to pull it off. And there would need to be at least 100 people show up.
I am just curious is there enough interest to pull it off? Should I make further inquiries?

I'd be all for showing up early in the evening and raising some Tiki chaos, but I'll be at the Gold Coast for the rockabilly acts at 10pm as I can assume will most of the rest of the crowd.

well, ok - when is a GOOD time to set something like this up?
i feel it must be done before the place closes down...
i mean a bar that doesn't stay open after 10-11 on a thursday night is heading for the tank.
