I'm not a big fan of the new electronica groups but I've been into Kraftwerk for over 20 years and I finally got to see them on Wednesday night. What a show! Hypnotic, surreal, strange (especially when they had robots playing as them). If you can catch them on this tour (they're playing at Coachella) you won't be disappointed.
For those who can't see them live their web site is entertaining:

I was fortunate enough to see them in 1998 at the Hollywood Paladium and it was AMAZING! The futuristic visuals and lighting were mesmerizing. Also got to see their robots on that show too. I was also fortunate to meet them briefly later that night when we went to a local coffehouse and they were there just hanging out and playing pool.
Anyone that likes any kind of electronic music needs to see one of their shows.

About the time I was into Kraftwerk, I was also listening to the Alan Parsen's Project.

What always amazes me is thier trans-europe express album cover....it's 1976 (i think) and these guys already have short hair and business suits...long before anyone else did! At the time, pretty much every band (except the pistols)had long hair, and those that did not had the "liberty bell" haircut! These guys were way ahead of thier time!!

I too listened to the musik of Kraftwerk and often asked myself the question..."Why the hell don't we got one o' them Autobahns?" then along came Falco & answered my question..."Alles klar, herr Commissar" and it all fell into place. Ich bin ein froliche Kamper jetz.

Boy, do i ever hate the word "electronica," but i do love Kraftwerk.
In a platonic heterosexual fanboy way (of course).
