Posted: 2004-05-25 3:15 pm   Permalink OK, I mentioned this girlie drink in another thread & someone asked for me to post it. My cousins love this drink & bought a blender to make it at home. A Lava Flow is basically a Pina Colada with strawberry puree added, this recipe makes the Colada thicker with ice cream to make the strawberry flow better: 1 ounce coconut syrup 2 ounces pineapple juice 1 1/2 ounces rum Splash vanilla ice cream (or ice milk) 1/2 cup ice 1 1/2 ounces strawberry puree Blend all ingredients except strawberry puree. Pour into a cocktail glass and top with strawberry puree & garnish with a pineapple wedge.
