In looking at a British Columbia travel book, I was surprised to find reference to a tiki restaurant in the extreme north of British Columbia, almost near the Yukon province.
I have found additional information on the web regarding this place; I will post that separately as a reply to this entry.
Below is a full transcription of what was in the book... there were no pictures.

Okay, and now for some things I've found about this place on the web. Ranging from positive reviews, with nice pictures, to extremely negative reviews.
Sabu the Coconut Boy displays a postcard and description of it in two places.

Another review that makes it sound absolutely horrible-- like a crack den-- although they are talking about the "Fort Nelson Motor INN" (as opposed to HOTEL) so it's possibly a different place?

Interesting Tikis, can't really peg the style?
