I was considering buying a shaved/crushing ice machine for the tiki bar and was wondering how long the ice would remain "freshly shaven" in the freezer?
I am not going to shave ice every time a friend arrives.
(Nothing personal friends )
Any suggestions?

Unga,
I never tried saving the ice in the freezer, always did it fresh, but i will take the ice shaver out this weekend & try it out & let you know.

I have stored crushed ice, but, it does tend to become a clump. I use an ice pick to break it up again.
