Aloha!
I've been saving images of Tiki related rock posters for awhile now, and felt it was time to share with y'all. I'm figuring Tiki Music is a good place to post this. Most of them I got from the site
http://www.gigposters.com/index.php, which is the Tiki Central for rock poster geeks. I realize there's some controversial musical artists here, but my aim is to show how Tiki has been used in this artistic medium, not to promote a particular musical artist. Some of them aren't that great, some are pretty cool, some borrow from familiar places, but they all incorporate Tiki, Hawaii or Polynesia. I did my best to credit the artist of each poster, but couldn't figure out a few. Some of these are available out there. I'd do a search on gigposters, ebay or Google the name of the artist if you're looking for one of them. I'll post more as I discover them. Enjoy!

Definately a nice collection. Thanks for sharing. I've always been into concert posters and have not seen many of those.

Thanks for sharing those! A fascinating collection!

I managed to get one like the Buffett one without any mention of him at all, which is more than fine by me!

Shag did a nice one many years ago before he started signing his prints:

Just to clarify what I said at the beginning of this thread, I found most of these images on http://www.gigposters.com/index.php. I do own the Rick Griffin Hawaii poster, and the Art Chantry Galaxy Trio poster, but the rest are mere jpegs collected on the World Wide Web.

SL,

Scroll down a bit. They have a cool Dick Dale poster with a tiki, still available. I already ordered mine.
