I wanted to keep my carvings separate from my other works. Carving is hobby and I have alot fun doin' it. Painting is for keeps so to speak.
This is my first attempt "Moai Bob" finished last summer
Tiki #2 "The Sleepy Tiki" finished last fall
I encountered lots of frustration with this piece and took a long hiatus from my chisels and mallet
And finally, "Ki'i Akau" I just finished him this morning 10"x 11" x 18" my biggest and most envolved yet
Please give me some constructive criticism, feedback, anything...
Mahalo and bright moments,
Rob
