Recently Jon Tiki and I spent a weekend in Southern California exploring the beach and its wonders… while there we took a detour to Whittier where we witnessed the Babylon of Tiki Cities…

Oceanic Arts is the oldest and largest supplier of Tiki and Tropical decor to the Western world. They specialize in Tiki poles, statues, and nautical fare. They've supplied some of the greatest tiki bars and restaurants, and their reputation is known far and wide across the Tiki bar subculture.

After horrible traffic, and confusing directions, we got there… with 5 minutes till closing. We decided we'd spend 5 quality minutes there before they closed. Here's a picture-by-picture account of what happened at the mystical place of Tiki called Oceanic Arts….
