Lounge Music
Lounge music spans a wide array of sounds and styles, but suprisingly the cliched Vegas Lounge-act sound is not part of it. The music here is quite
lush and swanky and perfect for listening to in one's home bar over cocktails. Although the Lounge revival has long since passed, the music is
still available and, not suprisingly, just as incredible as ever.
Featured Items:
| Wild Cool & Swingin
This is Lounge Music like it was meant to be. Top jazz vocals from the likes of Bobby Darin, Louis Prima, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, and more. The music here is wonderful and never slips into cheesiness. This disc is part of the award-winning Ultra-Lounge series, and is the perfect companion to a stiff drink.

| Space Age Bachelor Pad Music
Esquivel is the master of space-age bachelor pad music, a loungy sound that emphasises stereo seperation and over-the-top instrumental arrangements. This album is a best-of compliation and is an amazing listen from beginning to end.

| The Sound Gallery, Vol. 1
This is a great collection of session music taken from vaults of a 1970s recording studio. The music here is incredibly groovy and funky without ever being goofy, and the end result is a wild listening experience. The tracks are mainly instrumentals with an occasional vocal or two. The is the cream of the crop.

| The Schoolgirl Report
This is a Jazz soundtrack to an all-but-forgotten 1970s sexpolitation movie, and has to be heard to be truly understood. Some of the tracks are insanely funny but without ever being cringe-worthy. The cover and sleeve features nudity, but the liner notes include a letter to parents who might find this disc in their child's backpack. A great disc.
